The last couple of years have been challenging. The pandemic forced us to rethink everything we were used to - the way we live, work and socialize with other people.

Individually and collectively, we have learned to live with the circumstances and carry on with our activities. The show must go on - and it does, with an utmost focus on safety.

Seagoers have always loved the sense of freedom the open sea provides. Fortunate for us, more people keep discovering yachting as a safe way to travel around, to have a holiday, and with modern technology, even work onboard their vessels.

As demand on new and pre-owned yachts keeps climbing and charters are being booked at record pace, the pressure will no doubt snowball on to berthing, shipyard facilities and services of all types. We need to keep focused on this trend and have our fleets, our premises, our stocks and our personnel prepared to meet the growing demand. The Balearic Islands is an extraordinary yachting destination, it is our privilege to keep our islands on top of the agenda for those who want to have it all – pristine sailing grounds of breathtaking beauty and pleasant climate, a vibrant city with high quality nautical services and plenty of fun options to pass the time when not sailing.

Let’s join our forces to show that Palma is very much open for business and ready to keep its compact and laid-back yacht show on the map of the most exciting events on the yachting calendar in 2022 and beyond.
